Aromas Water's NewsSplash! Second Quarter 2020
This spring we were doing a little “spring cleaning” of one of our wells to make sure that it is as efficient, and therefore cost effective, as it can be, so you may have seen some activity next door to the Aromas Fire Station. This is especially important considering this well utilizes the energy produced by our solar field, thus keeping costs as low as possible, reducing the need to increase the budget for power consumption.
The District Staff hope you are all staying safe and well as the Shelter-In- Place order continues. The Water District office, although closed to public visits, remains open via phone to assist our customers in a variety of ways, including assistance with making payments or answering questions. Our Board continues to meet online via Zoom on a monthly basis (fourth Tuesday of the month, check the meeting schedule) and should you wish to attend, please follow the links available in the current Board packet available on the home page of this website.
You should have received your copy of the 2019 Water Quality Report, sent out mid-June, detailing all the components that are commonly found in water sources and those that are specific to our local area. As you can see, we are lucky enough to continue to enjoy excellent quality water from our local aquifer. If you did not receive a copy, click to view the report here on our website.
