CURRENT RESIDENTIAL RATES: The rates below are valid from July 1, 2023 through June 30, 2024.

Base Rate: The monthly "base" service fee for a regular (5/8”) line is $50.00 for each residence on a meter regardless of how much water is used. This base rate is a flat monthly fee that meets a portion of the fixed costs to provide service to any existing meter. These costs include inspection, maintenance, accounting, meter reading and billing services for a typical water connection and for fire suppression capacity.

Usage Rate: In addition to the base rate, customers will be charged the following for actual water used:

  • 0-699 cubic feet (cf):               $0.0537 per cf
  • 700-2000 cubic feet (cf):        $0.0906 per cf
  • 2001 cubic feet (cf) and up:    $0.1231 per cf

PVWMA fees:  You will also notice a small fee shown on your bill as “PVWMA.” Our wells lie within the Pajaro Valley Water Management Agency’s boundaries. We pay fees to PVWMA for all water pumped from the basin and the charge is currently 67 cents per 100 cubic feet. This "Augmentation Fee" funds implementation of their Basin Management Plan.
