Wayne was elected to the Board in 2022 and his term will continue until December 2026. Wayne is actually serving his fourth term as he was previously a Board Director from 2012 until 2020.
Wayne Norton has lived in Aromas since 1985. He is retired after a varied professional life as a journalist, an educator, and an advocate for older adults. He has been an active volunteer in community organizations including the Aromas Eagles, the Aromas Community Center Foundation, the Aromas Service Club, Aromas Cares for our Environment, and the Aromas Progressive Action League. He is a founding member and past president of the Rotary Club of San Juan Bautista. Wayne currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Seniors Council of Santa Cruz and San Benito Counties. He is a member of the Community Advisory Council of Central Coast Community Energy.
